Weave - A - Zine - RISOGRAPH Printing, Textiles, Personal Narrative & Collaborative Zine Making WORKSHOP! Saturday, June 20th, 1 - 5 pm.

Join us for the highly anticipated follow-up workshop to the 2025 instant classic FREE! Recipe Zine Workshop. This year, we will be compiling a collaborative zine around the theme of personal narrative inspired by specific textiles in our lives. What textile in your life is central or a reminder to a moment you want to share, celebrate, reckon with, etc., through image and text at our workshop?

Gather at the Ithaca Print Commons to learn how to design, print, and bind a collaborative zine! Participants are asked to bring their written work already fleshed out and the central textile, or an image of the textile, so we can use the time experimenting with layout, design, and print methodologies during our limited time together.

All ages and skill levels are welcome, and all materials are included.

FREE! But space is limited to 10 spots, so registration is required.

This workshop will be facilitated by Adam Bryant(bookbinding savant), Sarah Gotowka(textile artist extraordinaire), Kaleb Hunkele(print devotee), and Laura Rowley(writer, publisher, local treasure).

This program is made possible in part with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program from the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of the office of the Governor and NYS Legislature, administered by the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County.
